Standing Strong

Each year men from across the upstate of South Carolina join us to sit under the preached word of God, fellowship with other men of all ages and walks of life, and worship the Lord together. This year's conference will feature Dr. Hershael York from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. You will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions, eat good food, and be challenged and encouraged by the word of God. We hope that you will join us!

Dr. York is Dean of The School of Theology and the Victor and Louise Lester Professor of Christian Preaching. Hershael York has served as the 11th dean of Southern Seminary’s School of Theology since 2018, and as the Victor and Louise Lester Professor of Christian Preaching since 1999. Before joining the faculty of Southern Seminary, York pastored Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, and the First Baptist Church of Marion, Arkansas. He is married to Tanya, and they have 2 children. Dr. York is the Pastor Emeritus of Buck Run Baptist Church in Frankfort, Kentucky.
